CCD Monthly                                                            November 2023

Foreword:

Greetings! We are China Christian Daily, the first comprehensive English Christian news website about the church in China.  Thank you for your sincere love, prayers, and contributions to the Chinese church.

Beginning last month, we have been translating a series of articles themed "Back to the Early Church" into English. A house church pastor who has extensively studied the early church believes that today's Chinese churches can learn from the apostolic age: mutual fellowship, intercessory prayer, self-sacrifice, signs and wonders, etc. There were many international visits during November, and the Chinese Christian community started to travel abroad to attend conferences. We will continue to pay attention to the topic in the future.

A Key Indicator of Vibrant Christian Faith Lies in the Frequency of Intercessory Prayer for Others

In present-day churches, perhaps the vast majority of people lack regular prayer at private times. Although we all know that prayer is very important, we often pray after we have finished everything.

The selfless dedication of the early believers stemmed from their initial commitment to follow, the wonderful example of the Lord's self-sacrifice, and their hopeful anticipation of the kingdom of God.

Today's church should also experience many signs and wonders like the early church, as the miracles can help God fulfill His promises, prove Himself, and open the door for the gospel.
