CCD Monthly                                                      August 2021

Foreword:

Greetings! We are China Christian Daily, the first comprehensive English Christian news website about the church in China. Thank you for all your sincere love, prayers and contributions to the Chinese church.

Disability, whether physically or mentally, is usually an unfortunate condition that makes daily life more difficult for a person. According to the 2006 National Sample Survey on Disability, it is estimated that
at least 83 million people in China live with disabilities, accounting for 6.3% of the total population. Jesus once told his disciples that a man blind from birth was not a result of his parents' sin, but rather that "this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life" (John 9:3). Through this heavenly perspective, this month we share the moving stories of some Christians with disabilities such as high paraplegia, blindness, a cleft lip and palate, and depression to demonstrate God's love and his glory in their lives.

You can also read trending news as well as features about the rescue story in the flood-ravaged Henan, the pictures of the churches in northeastern China, and research suggestions about Christianity in China through the angel of "an insider".
