CCD Monthly                                                      February 2021

Foreword:

Greetings! We are China Christian Daily, the first comprehensive English Christian news website about the church in China. Thank you for your sincere love, prayer for and contributions to the Chinese church.

The Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, is China's most important festival, a time for family reunion. However, the public holiday of 2021 has been unlike any year as many people choose to stay out due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Closed down, Chinese churches choose to celebrate the day through virtual services, scripture reciting, praise, and prayers. While gathering together, some Christian families start worship before God and some enjoy a banquet with single Christians who are unable to return to their hometowns.

You can also read stories of ministries for the deaf and group evangelism, and a moving story about a previous prodigal son who has been transformed to care for abandoned orphans.
