Foreword:

Greetings! We are China Christian Daily, the first comprehensive English Christian news website about the church in China. Thank you for your sincere love, prayers for and contributions to the Chinese church.

As floods ravaged China's central Henan Province resulting from the record-breaking rainstorms l
ast week, at least 99 people have died, five remain missing, and more than 13.91 million people have been affected, according to the local authorities. In the face of such a disaster, the Chinese Christian community takes action as Christians should be the salt and light of the world. Prayers, donations, and services are carried out publicly and privately. Some even pay attention to the post-disaster recovery and reconstruction in the flood-stricken province, praying for God's healing and restoration of the land and the hurt souls. This month, we share the stories centering around the devastating floods.

You can also read trending news as well as features about the opinion on pursuing the true concept of church gathering, the story of a woman supporting a rural pastor, and what may happen if Christian content gradually disappears in the cyberspace of China.
